ABSTRACT:  This study attempts to answer hoe the strategies in reproductive rights of a section of the women's movement in the Philippines reflect socialist feminism. The objectives of the study focused on understanding the reproductive rights advocacy work of the selected women's organizations and how this is linked to socialist feminism. The background of the study provides an overview of the frustrating plight on reproductive health of women in the Philippines, the way women's organizations, addresses this controversy and the explanation of socialists feminism regarding this. The descriptive type of research extensively used library research and the technique of the key informant interviews. This study is significant because it addresses in timely fashion a burning issue for women, that is, how to exercise their reproductive rights, and manage and control their own bodies. In conclusion, the study showed that through the socialist feminism analysis, the researchers found out that most of the strategies of these women's organizations focused more on addressing women's right to control over their sexuality. On the other hand, they failed to relate how this control may help women gain access to production resources. In order to oppose capitalism and male denomination, the researchers saw the need for these organizations to address both women's control over sexuality and women's access to production resources to break these systems.
