ABSTRACT:  This paper aims to present the existing condition of the Pasig River. The river's history is quite romantic and useful since its history teaches the present inhabitants of the experiences encountered by it. In order to meet this objective, the researchers gathered data (written and documented). Included in the gathering are: the responses of the interviewees; the residents; the government and non-government agencies as well as the Environmental Planning students of Miriam College. Furthermore, the researchers took an actual video clip of the river, historical illustrations of Pasig River, learning materials and the actual responses of the interviewees. In this study we concluded that the campaign for the cleaning of Pasig River is a very meticulous job but it could be accomplished through the cooperation of the Government and Non-Government Agencies and the inhabitants around it, and also with the proper implementation of the law and the good management of the waste waters that empty into the river. For without proper concern, total awareness and commitment for our environment, man may find that water can be a limiting factor.
