by Himmele, William
Himmele, Persida
The article discusses total participation techniques in education, with particular focus given to their usefulness for engaging students with content and allowing teachers to assess what students know about a concept. The importance of both high participation and high cognition for quality total participation learning experiences is emphasized, and ideas for incorporating total participation techniques into lessons are presented. The assertion that total participation techniques are an excellent way for students to provide teachers with feedback is also examined.
