Keeping the destination in mind

In this article the author discusses the feedback process in education, wherein teachers provide information to students regarding the progress and quality of their work, and examines how this approach can be used to aid students in their achievement of educational goals and objectives. The author outlines what she deems high-quality strategies that can be used by teachers to provide feedback and comments that such practices can help students develop their independent learning and critical thinking skills. She also explores how feedback provides teachers with information regarding their teaching methods and class assignments.
