Making time for feedback

The article discusses feedback in education, and presents advice for teachers on how to deliver useful feedback to their students in a time-effective manner. The problem of lack of time in education is commented on, and suggestions including focusing on errors rather than mistakes, looking for patterns in student errors and addressing them, and distinguishing between errors made by large numbers of students and those only made by a few are presented. The advice to use prompts and cues is also offered.
